AAC and Birth to Three: What's Next?

Do you have a client or child under 3 years of age who is using AAC, but you are not sure what to do next? This webinar will discuss how communication partners, including early interventionists and families, can support language and communication for AAC users in the birth-to-three population. It will also highlight the importance of parent/caregiver coaching and provide strategies to empower families to use AAC in the home and community settings. Resources to support AAC in early intervention will be provided as well, including handouts, modeling guides, evidence-based practices, and further professional development.

A collaboration between all 26 Region A parent centers, provides innovative services that involve diverse youth/young adults with disabilities and their families.
