Life Skills and Empowering Independence with Technology for Young Adults with Disabilities

This workshop explores the best apps and technology tools to help young adults with disabilities gain independence in daily life. Participants will learn about innovative solutions for time management, including calendar and reminder apps, as well as tools to streamline transportation, such as ride-sharing services. The session will also cover independent living at home, featuring smart home devices, financial management, habit trackers and communication technology to empower independence and enhance overall quality of life. Presenters will provide relatable, real-world examples, infused with humor, to illustrate this important topic.
